Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, located at the southern end of Vancouver Island, and can be accessed by air or ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay (Sidney) or Port Angeles (WA) to Victoria.
The Straits of Georgia and Juan de Fuca meet in the waters off southern Vancouver Island. These strong, nutrient-rich currents support an assortment of large and small marine residents. There are numerous shore and boat diving sites around the city.
